I like to create, whether it's apparel, writing a story, or building a chicken coop.  I have designed clothing forever.  When I was a little girl, I would make clothes for my Barbie (I was only allowed one) with pieces of balloon.  They were stretchy, so it wasn't too hard.  In high school, I actually designed my prom dress.  And then I got into making myself crazy outfits.  I lived in Hawaii for a bit and had a line of junior resort wear.  I didn't make much money, but it was fun.  Between kids and work there have been period of creating and periods not so much.  But here I am again.  I have been making myself fun pants that I've been wearing to the climbing gym and to my job teaching elementary school.  And then I decided to try and design my own fabric by doing batik.  It has been a fun and challenging process.  I have received so many compliments and I like the ability to create and express myself so much that I decided to see if other people would get as much pleasure out of using my items as I do in making them.
